Artist Statement

My work focuses on memory, history and narrative illustrating how we are all connected to one another. Materials in my work have been thoughtfully chosen for their essence, bringing forth context and specificity. Inspiration for my work comes from current events and everyday life which is used to transform and transcend the timelines of the past into the present.
